SHR (Super Hair Removal) uses rapid, low-energy pulses — up to 10 shots per second — combined with In-Motion gliding technology to gently and gradually heat the hair follicle, delivering safe, comfortable and long-lasting hair reduction. Unlike traditional IPL, SHR works effectively on all skin types, including sensitive and darker skin tones. Most clients notice early signs of reduced regrowth within just one or two sessions, and the sensation is pretty much pain-free — just a warm, gentle heat, nothing like the sharp snap of older technologies.
Because SHR builds heat gradually rather than firing a single intense pulse, it's especially well-suited to areas that are usually more sensitive, like the face, underarms and bikini line. With consistent sessions (typically 6–8 sessions for visible results, up to 10 for a full course), most clients see a noticeable reduction in hair growth fairly quickly, with continued improvements in texture and speed of regrowth over the course of treatments.
New clients must book an SHR Smooth Starter consultation ($55) before their first treatment session. This includes a skin assessment, patch test, and introductory treatment.
