Salon Policy

Please read our booking and cancellation policies before your appointment.

Thank you for choosing Char's Beauty Room. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.

Booking & Payment

  • All appointments must be booked online.
  • Online payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
  • If you wish to pay by cash or bank transfer, please contact Char's Beauty Room prior to booking to arrange payment. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. If payment is not received promptly, your appointment may be released and made available to another client.
  • Unpaid appointments will not be held.
  • All booking payments are non-refundable and are subject to this Booking & Cancellation Policy.
  • Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. As a private studio, each appointment slot is allocated to one client only.

Appointment Changes

  • Your booking is reserved based on the treatment selected at the time of booking.
  • If you wish to change your treatment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Changes requested on the day of your appointment may not always be possible and will depend on availability, treatment suitability, and the time required.
  • If you choose not to proceed with your booked treatment on the day, your booking payment remains non-refundable.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for all cancellations or changes.
  • With 48 hours' notice or more, your appointment may be rescheduled once, provided the new appointment is booked within 14 days.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, same-day cancellations, or missed appointments will result in the booking being forfeited.

Grace Credit

  • As a one-time courtesy, a Grace Credit may be offered at the discretion of Char's Beauty Room.
  • This allows you to rebook within 14 days of your original appointment.
  • This courtesy is available once per client only.
  • After a Grace Credit has been used, any future late cancellations or missed appointments will result in the booking being forfeited.

No-Shows & Late Cancellations

  • Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in your booking payment being forfeited.
  • Repeated no-shows or excessive late cancellations may result in future bookings being declined.

Late Arrivals

  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes early if consultation forms are required.
  • A 10-minute grace period may be provided where possible. Late arrivals may result in your treatment time being shortened to avoid impacting the next client.
  • If your appointment can no longer be completed safely due to lateness, your booking payment may be forfeited.

Children & Guests

  • To maintain a calm and professional environment, no extra guests are permitted.
  • Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the studio unless receiving a scheduled treatment and accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Sickness & Health

  • Please reschedule your appointment as early as possible if you are feeling unwell.
  • Char's Beauty Room reserves the right to postpone treatment if it is not safe or suitable to proceed.

Appointment Changes by Char's Beauty Room

  • While we do our best to maintain all scheduled appointments, there may be occasions where Char's Beauty Room needs to cancel or reschedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Where possible, we will provide as much notice as possible.
  • If we need to cancel your appointment, your payment will be transferred to a suitable alternative appointment date.
  • We kindly ask clients to provide the same courtesy when needing to cancel or change an appointment.

Courtesy Reminders

  • Appointment reminders may be sent via text or email as a courtesy.
  • Clients are responsible for keeping track of their appointments and should not rely solely on reminder messages.

Parking

  • Street parking is available directly outside.
  • Please keep the driveway clear at all times.

Online Booking Agreement

  • By completing your booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
  • The full Booking & Cancellation Policy is available online prior to booking.
