FAQ
Super Skin Rejuvenation the right treatment for me?
If you are concerned with the appearance of fine wrinkles, brown spots, broken capillaries and other signs of sun damage, we highly recommend SSR. Prior to
every treatment, we consult each of our clients to assess their skin type and devise a treatment plan which delivers the best results. For optimal results,
treatments are recommended every 4 weeks. If you would like to start your SSR journey or find out more, contact us today!
How does SSR Rejuvenate the skin?
Pulses of safe, filtered light penetrate the epidermis, or top layer of the skin targeting the dermis underneath where the melanin and haemoglobin reside. The affected
cells are destroyed and either absorbed via the lymphatic system or removed by the body (micro crusting). A beneficial side effect of this treatment is the stimulation of
collagen production, improving skin texture and fine lines and restoring the skin to a more youthful state. Skin takes 28 to rejuvenate and repair cells, therefore results may
be less visible at times.
What is the Recovery Time?
Immediately following the treatment your skin may a little red, almost sunburn like , But will subside very quickly . People with darker skins may notice the skin is darker
after the treatment and this will gradually lighten over a period of about two weeks.
